It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Lauderdale County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Wilson Warriors 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Warriors back in March, they had to take a 14-0 defeat.

Lauderdale County now has a winning record of 16-15. As for Wilson, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-15.

Coming up, Lauderdale County will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Colbert County at 4:30 p.m. The Indians will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wilson, they are taking a road trip to take on Fleetwood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups.
