Baseball Recap: Rochester Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Rochester and Logansport had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Zebras fell 5-1 to the Berries on Thursday. The Zebras have struggled against the Berries recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Tanner Reinartz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and one stolen base.

Rochester's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Logansport, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rochester will head out to square off against Twin Lakes at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Logansport, they will venture away from home to take on Bremen at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
