Basketball Recap: Cox Gets the Win

It was a Battle of the Birds when Cox took on Hickory on Tuesday. The Cox Falcons walked away with a 50-38 win over the Hickory Hawks. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory got Cox back to even at 4-4. As for Hickory, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cox will square off against Tallwood at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hickory, they will take on Greenbrier Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
