They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 68-62 W against the Russell Christian Academy Warriors. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 71-57 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lamar's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lamar will head out to square off against Brookhaven Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Russell Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Eastwood Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
