Softball Recap: Wakefield School Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Wakefield School's offense. They fell just short of the Langley Saxons by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Fighting Owls just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Wakefield School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Langley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5-1.

Coming up, Wakefield School will be playing at home against Alexandria City at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Langley, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Wakefield on the 22nd.
