It was a good run, but Topsail unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ashley Screaming Eagle. Topsail fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Ashley since Tuesday.

Topsail's goal came courtesy of Keaton Erpelding, which was the first he's scored this season.

Topsail's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-2. As for Ashley, they pushed their record up to 7-1-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Topsail will square off against rival North Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ashley is set to challenge their familiar foe Laney at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
