Southlake Carroll had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Midland Bulldogs 49-0. The Dragons pushed the score to 42-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs had no chance of recovering from.
Southlake Carroll got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooks Biggers out in front who rushed for 103 yards and two TDs. Another signal caller making a difference was Angelo Renda, who threw for 248 yards and three touchdowns.
