St. Mary's piles up the points against Pilot Station

Recap: St. Mary's Eagles vs. Pilot Station King Salmon

The St. Mary's Eagles had to endure a three-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They claimed a resounding 73-31 victory over Pilot Station at home. With that win, St. Mary's brought their scoring average up to 52.5 points per game.

St. Mary's found their leader in underclassman Kadence Paukan, who scored 24 points. Another player making a difference was Richelle Sipary, who scored 17 points.

St. Mary's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Pilot Station, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.

St. Mary's won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Scammon Bay at 1:00 p.m. on January 5th. Pilot Station does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
