Basketball Preview: Digital Harbor Rams vs. Carver Vo-Tech Bears
The Digital Harbor Rams are on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Carver Vo-Tech Bears at 5:15 p.m. on February 6th. Digital Harbor will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Bears are ranked 68th).
Last Tuesday, Digital Harbor took a serious blow against the Engineers, falling 73-45.
Meanwhile, Carver Vo-Tech didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Poets on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 38-33 win. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Carver Vo-Tech has scored all year.
Carver Vo-Tech's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dorrian Sands led the charge by scoring 13 points. Another player making a difference was Kalial Colclough, who scored 11 points.
Digital Harbor dropped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Carver Vo-Tech, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
Digital Harbor was taken down by the Bears 68-27 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Digital Harbor was down 36-10.
