Baseball Recap: Pine Valley Central Panthers vs. Cassadaga Valley Cougars

Pine Valley Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Cassadaga Valley Cougars, falling 16-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 two weeks ago.

Camryn Slade put in work no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits. Slade was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.
