Mountlake Terrace dropped their record down to 11-11 on Saturday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stanwood Spartans. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

As for Stanwood, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games.

For Stanwood's part, they let Connor Clifton and Gavin Gehrman run wild. Clifton went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Gehrman went 3-for-4 with two runs. That's the most hits Gehrman has posted since back in April of 2024. Brayden Wammack was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

As of now, neither Mountlake Terrace nor Stanwood have any future games scheduled.
