Wakeland had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over The Colony Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Wakeland was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-14.

Wakeland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jacey Rogers, who had 18 assists and four digs. Rogers has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last six times she's played. Aubree Fernandez was another key player, getting 13 digs and five assists.

Wakeland's win bumped their record up to 21-6. As for The Colony, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-23-1 record this season.
