Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sammamish). They had just enough and edged Tournament Opponent out 105-102. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the RedHawks have posted since January 9, 2024.

Rakin Showki was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 46 points and 11 assists. Those 46 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anthony Boddie, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Sammamish was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Sammamish is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Sammamish didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-76 victory against Tournament Opponent on the 3rd.
