Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Charter Takes a Loss

Lincoln Charter lost against Pine Lake Prep two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Pride, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Bryleigh Rhodes paced Lincoln Charter's offense, picking up nine kills. Rhodes got some help from Abby Shonce and her 17 assists. Finally, Nicolle Mora-Brown kept Lincoln Charter's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Lincoln Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Pine Lake Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Lincoln Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pine Lake Prep, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Community School of Davidson on the 14th.
