Volleyball Recap: Bristol Eastern Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Harper Dauphinee and Natalia Vye

Bristol Eastern dropped to 11-8 on Tuesday, ending the team's four-match streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Bristol Central Rams by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Natalia Vye and Harper Dauphinee certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Vye had 16 digs, while Dauphinee had 19 digs, 12 kills, and six aces. Vye is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Maria Albert also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

As for Bristol Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since September 29th.

Among those leading the charge was Azaria Rochester, who had 12 digs.
