Volleyball Recap: Otis Comes Up Short

Otis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Idalia Wolves. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Otis couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Idalia a tough time in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 18-25, 31-29.

Kensley Packer paced Otis' offense, picking up 20 kills. Packer got some help from Crysten Goble and her 32 assists. Goble was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Otis' loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-9. As for Idalia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.

Otis has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Flagler on the 23rd. As for Idalia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Haxtun on the 21st.
