Volleyball Recap: Brylei Page's Big Game Can't Quite Lead West Nassau over Bishop Snyder + How To Watch

If West Nassau was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of KIPP Bold City on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Bishop Snyder Cardinals on Thursday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

While West Nassau was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-19.

West Nassau's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brylei Page, who had six digs and one block. With that strong performance, Page is now averaging an impressive 13.2 assists per game.

Eleny Pham had an outrageously good game for Bishop Snyder as she had 25 digs and three assists. Pham is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Caitlyn Boshell also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

West Nassau's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-8. As for Bishop Snyder, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

West Nassau has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Fernandina Beach on the 7th. As for Bishop Snyder, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Palatka on the 6th.
