Baseball Game Preview: Alexander Bulldogs vs. Dripping Springs Tigers

For the second straight game, Alexander will face off against Dripping Springs. The Bulldogs will challenge the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Alexander's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Dripping Springs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Alexander heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Thursday. They fell just short of Dripping Springs by a score of 2-0. Considering the last time the Bulldogs couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Dripping Springs has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Alexander, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 24-10.
