New Hope Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwest Christian Wildcats. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

New Hope Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Southwest Christian, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

New Hope Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Reedsport at 6:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Southwest Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against North Douglas at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
