After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Godwin, Glen Allen was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Hermitage Panthers a 10-0 shutout. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by seven runs or more this season.
Jaidyn Tillman made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Tillman was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Maeve Haun was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Caroline Jessie was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
