This past Saturday, the Riverton Wolverines were out to avenge their 43-29 loss to the Kelly Walsh Trojans from their previous meeting last month, but they had no such luck. Riverton came up short against Kelly Walsh, falling 52-43. The Wolverines' defeat continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it three in a row.

The Wolverines' defeat pushed them down to 4-15. The win bumped Kelly Walsh's record up to 12-6.

The Wolverines are on the road again Monday and play against Green River. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest. Kelly Walsh will stay at home against Natrona County on Thursday. Unlike Kelly Walsh, Natrona County will be stumbling in off of a loss.
