The biggest upset of the week belonged to East Fairmont, who defeated 75th ranked Barbour, 49-25.
Byrd was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in Big Ten. The Eagles vanquished Scott 27-13 earlier in the week.
Cole Collins put up the best numbers in passing as Grafton fell to North Marion. He finished with 12 completions for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns. Collins' favorite target this week was Chase Moats, who caught 6 passes for 72 yards.
The Bearcats' Collins and Tyler Moore have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Collins has thrown for 991 yards this season, while Moore has 30 catches for 369 yards. Anthony Bonamico from Bridgeport leads the league in rushing with 1,377 yards.
The Indians are currently in first, while Preston is in seventh.
Fairmont was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Lincoln. The Polar Bears came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 31 last week.
