On Monday, the Phelps Hornets blew past the Elliott County Lions, posting a 59-20 victory. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 21 points or more this season.

Phelps' win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Elliott County, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.
