D'Arbonne Woods will challenge the Ouachita Parish Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. D'Arbonne Woods will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
D'Arbonne Woods took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Oak Grove, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. D'Arbonne Woods came out on top in a nail-biter against Oak Grove on Thursday, sneaking past 6-4.

Aubrey Zachary spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on seven hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had over her last six games.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Charley Alford, who went 2-for-3 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Joley Bennett, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ouachita Parish, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Ruston on Thursday as Ouachita Parish made off with a 16-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Alayjha Matthews was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Matthews was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.
In other batting news, Rheagan Montgomery was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Aja Williams, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double.
Ouachita Parish always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ruston only posted an OBP of .250.
Ouachita Parish is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. D'Arbonne Woods' victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
