Basketball Game Preview: High School of the Future vs. Academy Park Knights

Having just played yesterday, High School of the Future will get right back to it and host the Academy Park Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Academy Park is hoping to do what South Philadelphia couldn't on Thursday: put an end to High School of the Future's winning streak, which now stands at four games. High School of the Future came out on top against South Philadelphia by a score of 58-48. High School of the Future pushed the score to 45-25 by the end of the third, a deficit South Philadelphia cut but never quite recovered from.

High School of the Future got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kasheef Williams out in front who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kareem Chappelle, who scored 15 points.

Meanwhile, Academy Park was just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 58-57 to Strawberry Mansion. Academy Park has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Academy Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for High School of the Future, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
