It's playoff time, and Cox had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Great Bridge Wildcats 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Cox's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Great Bridge, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7.
