Softball Game Preview: Portland Christian Eagles vs. North Oldham Mustangs

The Portland Christian Eagles will head out to square off against the North Oldham Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Portland Christian is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Portland Christian lost 17-1 to North Royalton on Thursday.

Portland Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addie Bragg, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Andi Beyerle also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, North Oldham came up short against Pleasure Ridge Park on Tuesday, falling 17-5. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Oldham's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Portland Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Portland Christian suffered a grim 16-5 defeat to North Oldham when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
