Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Alter Comes Up Short

Archbishop Alter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wilmington Hurricane. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Hurricane when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Archbishop Alter's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Wilmington, their win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 7-15.

Looking ahead, Archbishop Alter will challenge Thurgood Marshall at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilmington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
