Basketball Recap: Kirkwood Comes Up Short

Kirkwood suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Monday. They came up short against the St. Louis University Junior Bills, falling 60-40. The matchup marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Kirkwood and nudges their season record down to 4-9. As for St. Louis University, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kirkwood will head out to face off against Ladue Horton Watkins at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. As for St. Louis University, they will challenge Vianney at 6:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
