Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Hillcrest challenged Molina on Friday. The Panthers fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 3-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on Tuesday.

Hillcrest saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angel Jimenez, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.

Hillcrest has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-11-1 record this season. As for Molina, the win got them back to even at 13-13.

As of now, neither Hillcrest nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
