Basketball Recap: Prairiland Takes a Loss

Prairiland lost against Lone Oak back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Prairiland Patriots fell 54-43 to the Lone Oak Buffaloes. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prairiland's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Lone Oak, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 4-14 record.

Prairiland will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Rains at 2:00 p.m. Rains will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Prairiland surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lone Oak, they will square off against Chisum at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Considering Chisum has lost three straight at home and Lone Oak three straight on the road , this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
