Softball Recap: Tuscaloosa Christian Find Success

Tuscaloosa Christian's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Victory Christian Eagles get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Olivia Fondren made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Fondren was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base.

In other batting news, Allison Mullinex was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Meeah Robinson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.

Tuscaloosa Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Tuscaloosa Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Tuscaloosa Christian will take on Russell Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Victory Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Starkville Christian at 6:15 p.m. on the 17th.
