Baseball Recap: Seven Straight Road Wins for Western Dubuque

While Western Dubuque's victory against Waterloo West wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Wahawks on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-5 on Tuesday.

Western Dubuque's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Waterloo West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 16 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-24 record this season.
