Baseball Recap: Crescent Comes Up Short

Crescent extended their losing streak to six on Monday, dropping them down to 7-7. They lost 14-4 to the Morrison Wildcats. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 8-3 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Morrison, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Considering they have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

For Morrison's part, Koltin Smith was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI Smith has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Meador, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Coming up, Crescent will venture away from home to challenge Del City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morrison, they will welcome Tonkawa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
