After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northeastern, Mechanicsburg was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 49-7 victory over the West Liberty-Salem Tigers. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Conley Bogard went supernova, throwing for 174 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes, while also rushing for 58 yards and one TD on only six carries. What's more, he racked up 139.2 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Austin Haynes was another key player, picking up 116 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Mechanicsburg's run defense was locked in: West Liberty-Salem could only muster 2.6 yards per carry. The Indians didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.1.

Mechanicsburg's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.5 points on average over those games. As for West Liberty-Salem, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.

As of now, neither Mechanicsburg nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
