Soccer Game Preview: Fontana vs. Bloomington

The Fontana Steelers will take on the Bloomington Bruins at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Monday, Fontana didn't have quite enough to beat Carter and fell 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Steelers came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Lions are ranked 657th).

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Bloomington's offense. They came up short against San Gorgonio on Monday, falling 6-0. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bloomington now has a losing record at 5-6-3. As for Fontana, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4-1.
