Volleyball Recap: Boyer Valley Takes a Loss

Boyer Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Audubon Wheelers. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wheelers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Boyer Valley's offense was headlined by Reese Miller and Sylvia Sullivan, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Ava Klinker and her seven assists. Morgan Hast controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Boyer Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Audubon, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Boyer Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against IKM/Manning on the 27th. As for Audubon, they will head out to face off against Treynor at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
