Baseball Game Preview: Clover Blue Eagles vs. Wando Warriors

The Clover Blue Eagles will challenge the Wando Warriors at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Clover has now lost eight straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 25.

Clover fell victim to Hanahan and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 1-0.

Clover saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Soder, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Wando came up short against St. James on Saturday and fell 9-4.

Caleb Anderson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Jake DiMartino was another, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Clover's record is now 0-3. As for Wando, their record now sits at 0-2.
