Volleyball Preview: Alice Coyotes vs. Flour Bluff Hornets
Alice is 0-10 against Flour Bluff since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Alice Coyotes are taking a road trip to take on the Flour Bluff Hornets at 5:00 p.m. Alice is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
Last Friday, Alice was able to grind out a solid win over Miller, taking the game 3-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 22-25, 25-20.
Meanwhile, Flour Bluff had already won two in a row, and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 victory.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 25-19.
Alice's win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 9-7. As for Flour Bluff, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season.
Alice came up short against Flour Bluff when the teams last played back in August of 2021, falling 2-0. Can Alice avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
