Onaga came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rural Vista [Hope/White City] Heat. That's more bragging rights for the Buffaloes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Onaga never let Rural Vista [Hope/White City] on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 27-25.

Lauryn Marten paced Onaga's offense, picking up 13 kills. Marten got some help from Abbie Ringel and her 24 assists.

Onaga's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Rural Vista [Hope/White City], they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.
