Volleyball Recap: Lathrop Takes a Loss

Lathrop had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Buhach Colony Thunder by a score of 2-1.

Lathrop's offense was headlined by Erin Chunn and Ayden Petroff, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Sariah Hilton and her eight assists. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jadore Dixon, racking up two apiece.

Buhach Colony's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Lathrop didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Woodland Christian on the 23rd. As for Buhach Colony, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Hanford on the 23rd.
