Savannah Christian will bounce into Friday's game after beating Savannah Country Day, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Savannah Christian took down Savannah Country Day 57-39 on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Raiders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Hornets are ranked 132nd).

Meanwhile, Woodville-Tompkins played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 58-25 loss at the hands of Tattnall County. The matchup marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Savannah Christian's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-6. As for Woodville-Tompkins, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Savannah Christian might still be hurting after the 64-38 defeat they got from Woodville-Tompkins in their previous meeting back in January of 2018.
