Basketball Recap: Fontainebleau Skates Past Hammond with Ease

Fontainebleau posted their biggest win since December 6, 2023 on Tuesday. They blew past the Hammond Tornadoes, posting a 51-18 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Tornadoes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Fontainebleau got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Laderricka Payne out in front who went 5-for-8 en route to 14 points and six steals. Payne is becoming a predictor of Fontainebleau's success: when she posts at least five steals the team is 7-3 (and 5-14 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Leila Neal, who went 5-for-12 on her way to 10 points and five steals.
