While Patchogue-Medford put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for William Floyd. The Raiders put the hurt on the Colonials with a sharp 9-0 victory. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Colonials recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Cailyn Rose-Freaney was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Rose-Freaney was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Ariana Shellman was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Hannah Eve was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Patchogue-Medford kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Patchogue-Medford's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for William Floyd, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-12.
