Soccer Game Preview: Hockaday vs. Parish Episcopal

The Hockaday Daisies will take on the Parish Episcopal Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hockaday is headed into the contest having not lost since November 19 and will look to keep things rolling. Everything went their way against Greenhill on Tuesday as Hockaday made off with a 4-1 win.

Hockaday hit Greenhill with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emory Dawkins, Tori Fair, Aynalie Charron, and Brynne Smith.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Parish Episcopal made sure to put some goals up on the board against Prestonwood Christian on Monday. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 5-2 victory. The result kept the Panthers happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Hockaday has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-1-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those five contests. As for Parish Episcopal, their win bumped their record up to 3-0-2.

Hockaday took their victory against Parish Episcopal in their previous matchup back in December of 2020 by a conclusive 8-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hockaday since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
