While Corvallis's victory against Sandy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Pioneers 2-1. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Corvallis' win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Sandy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Corvallis has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against McMinnville on the 20th. Sandy has also already played their next contest (against Centennial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
