Recap: Marietta Indians vs. Plainview Indians
The Marietta Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 74-62 to Plainview. Marietta has not had much luck with Plainview recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the loss, Marietta still got an impressive performance from Aedan Ellison, who scored 28 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Jorge Remis, who scored six points.
Marietta has not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Plainview, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marietta will take on Healdton at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Healdton is coming into the matchup with three straight defeats on the road, meaning Marietta will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Plainview, they will play host again and welcome Kingston, where tip off is scheduled for 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday.
