Volleyball Game Preview: Panorama Pythons vs. Banning Pilots

The Panorama Pythons will take on the Banning Pilots at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Panorama has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Banning will arrive with three straight victories.

Two weeks ago, Panorama didn't have quite enough to beat Reseda and fell 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Panorama sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 20-25, 25-10, 16-25, 15-7.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Banning walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Vipers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pilots have posted since August 27th.

Panorama's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Banning, their victory bumped their record up to 9-18.

Panorama came up short against Banning when the teams last played back in September of 2018, falling 2-0. Can the Pythons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
