Basketball Recap: Hermitage Comes Up Short

Hermitage lost against Highland Springs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hermitage Panthers took a blow against the Highland Springs Springers, falling 85-17. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brianna Shelton was nothing short of spectacular for Highland Springs: she posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesiah Young, who put up 17 points.

Hermitage's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Highland Springs, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Hermitage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-36 loss against Hanover on the 12th. As for Highland Springs, they will look to defend their home court on December 17th against John Marshall at 7:30 p.m.
