Volleyball Recap: Charlotte Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Charlotte barely beat Riverdale the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Fightin' Tarpons blew past the Raiders 3-0 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Fightin' Tarpons also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Charlotte never let Riverdale on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-14.

The victory (which was Charlotte's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. As for Riverdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Charlotte and Lemon Bay will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Riverdale, they will venture away from home to square off against Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
